On August 15, 2020, The Lettersearned a Second Place Finish in the prestigious 2020 AWSA Golden Scroll Awards for the Christian Market Book of the Year (Fiction Category)! This was the first year of the Christian Market Book Awards, and there were no genre categories. Every book was judged against all the others, regardless of genre. the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association (AWSA) is a special fellowship of over 500 Christian women professional authors, entertainers, publishers, and speakers who encourage and train one another. Their AWSA conference is held each year, with the 2020 conference being held virtually (due to the COvid pandemic). The golden scroll awards have been held for twelve years. Kevin was honored to be one of two male authors who received an award in the first-ever CMBA’s.

on march 20, 2021, Kevin was a guest on once upon a page with hosts Heather greer and amy anguish! his first zoom interview, and it happened in his new office (kevin and his wife moved recently). The office is almost completely redone. The walls are still a little sterile because no pictures have been hung yet. But soon! (did you know moving is detrimental to writing? hard to write when everything is in boxes…)
